1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Shopminator processes information received through the eBay Sandbox API during the development and testing of the Shopminator application.
The eBay integration is currently used exclusively for development, testing, and demonstration purposes. It is not intended for processing real marketplace transactions or production customer data.
2. Information we access
When a user authorizes Shopminator to access an eBay Sandbox account, the application may access information made available through the permissions granted by that user, including:
- Sandbox eBay account identifiers;
- Sandbox listings and inventory information;
- Sandbox orders and fulfillment information;
- Sandbox seller account settings and business policies;
- OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens required to maintain the connection.
The exact information available to Shopminator depends on the permissions requested and approved during the eBay authorization process.
3. How we use the information
Information received through the eBay Sandbox API is used only to:
- develop and test the Shopminator eBay integration;
- import and synchronize Sandbox inventory and listing data;
- test order and fulfillment workflows;
- diagnose technical problems;
- verify that OAuth authorization and API communication function correctly.
We do not sell eBay user information or use it for advertising.
4. OAuth credentials
Shopminator stores OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens in order to communicate with the eBay Sandbox API on behalf of the authorized Sandbox user.
These credentials are used only for authorized API requests and are not intentionally disclosed to unrelated third parties.
5. Data retention
Sandbox information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for development and testing.
Test information, OAuth credentials, and related integration records may be deleted when:
- the test connection is removed;
- authorization is revoked;
- the relevant development test is completed; or
- the information is no longer required for troubleshooting.
Because the integration is under active development, test data may also be reset or deleted without notice.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell or rent information received through the eBay Sandbox API.
Information may be processed by infrastructure and hosting providers used to operate the Shopminator development environment. Such processing is limited to what is necessary to provide hosting, storage, security, logging, and related technical services.
Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or necessary to protect the security and integrity of the application.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by the Shopminator development environment.
However, no system can guarantee absolute security. The eBay Sandbox integration should not be used with real customer information, real transactions, or information that is not appropriate for a testing environment.
8. User choices
Users may decline the eBay authorization request or revoke previously granted access through their eBay account settings.
A user may also request the deletion of test information associated with their Shopminator Sandbox connection.
9. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as the Shopminator eBay integration develops. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last updated.
Before the integration is made available for production use, this Sandbox policy may be replaced by a more comprehensive production privacy policy.
